Synopsis

The Life and Adventures of Robinson Crusoe is a novel written by Daniel Defoe inspired by the real life experiences of  the Scottish sailor Alexander Selkirk. This novel narrates the adventurous journey of a sailor whose shipwreck turned his life to staying alone for decades in Islands where only Cannibals lived.  While Robinson Crusoe's parents wanted him to be a lawyer, he had a passion for sailing and his first voyage turned as disastrous as his shipwrecked in heavy storm. Restarting the journey after repairing the ship, he soon encounters another disaster as captive of pirates. Escaping from the pirates he reaches an Island and spent decades of his life alone with many more adventures in the subsequent decades.
