Synopsis
Wells' science fiction novel The First Men in the Moon narrates the adventurous journey to moon by the duo Bedford, a businessman and Cavor, a physicist. Cavor invents a material cavorite which can negate the force of gravity. The prematurely developed Cavorite takes them to the moon and they encounter with rapid growing plants, beasts and monsters named Selenites. Being captivated by Selenties, the duo split and only Bedford returns to earth. As the story progress Cavor's communications are received by Bedford and ends-up with his messages are blocked for ever, when he was about to teach how to make Cavorite.Similar Bookshelves
