Synopsis

Arthur Conan Doyle's short story The Adventure of Wisteria Lodge is part of the author’s His Last Bow series of short stories published. John Scott Eccles stays at residence of Garcia, a stranger and likely to be his new business partner.  Garcia is murdered around one o clock in the midnight and Eccles fate is in dark as a note in the  victim’s pocket connecting his involvement in the murder. Inspector Gaynes arrest the cook at the Wisteria Lodge against Holme’s advice that the criminal is not the cook. Holmes along-with his deputy Dr. Watson and Gaynes investigates the case and concludes that the crime is committed on account of political rivalry by an overthrown dictator Don Juan Murillo.
