Synopsis

Piper in the Woods is a space opera by Philip K Dick narrates what could happen when the soldiers can not handle the pressure of war. Army doctor Henry Harris was puzzled by the soldier's claim that he is a plant, and many more soldiers continued to do so. Henry flee to the war field and was informed by the soldiers that a race called Pipers, who lives in the wood made them to believe themselves as plants. However Henry realizes that Pipers were only an imaginary race, it was the actual soldiers who found peace when the start believing as plants.
