Synopsis

Oedipus at Colonus is the second play of Oedipus Trilogy penned by Athenian tragedian Sophocles. The play follows the preceding incidents after Oedipus blinding himself and eventually expelled by his sons Eteocles and Polynices. Along with his daughters Antigone and Ismene, Oedipus moves to holy-land. He curses his sons that they will kill each other. The play ends Oedipus dies and buried at Athens.
