Synopsis
With just twenty five years of life and four years of publication, John Keats is considered one of the key figures of romantic poets of his contemporaries such as Lord Byron and Shelly. The popularity of his poems started bit later after his death and reached the pinnacle by end of 19th century. The poetry of Keats is characterized by sensual imagery, most notably in the series of odes. Today his poems and letters are some of the most popular and most analysed in English literature.Similar Bookshelves
