Synopsis

Edith Wharton's tragic novel Ethan Frome narrates the triangle romance of Ethan, his sick wife Zeena and her cousin Mattie. Unhealthy Zeena brings her cousin Mattie to take care of her in home. With poverty ruling his life, Ethan is obsessed with young Mattie who does not stop him advancing towards her. Knowing their affair Zeena plans to replace her with another maid. Before her exit from home, they decide to runaway from the home and planning to marry. While they were enjoying the shredding adventure, an accident wound Mattie and become paralyzed.
