Synopsis

Bernard Shaw's comedy play Arms and the Man is set during 1885 Serbo-Bulgarian War. In an attempt to escape from Bulgarian army, Captain Bluntschli of Serbian army enters the house of Bulgarian woman Raina. Hours long conversation between them changes the views of Raina on the war. After the meeting Raina ignores her betrothed Sergius Saranoff, a war hero and soon falls in love with Bluntschli. Saranoff abondons the engagement stating Raina helped hiding an enemy soldier. The play ends up Raina getting married with Bluntschli.
