Synopsis
Considered to be the sequel of historical play Julius Caesar, William Shakespeare's tragedy Antony and Cleopatra begins with the triumvirates rule in the Roman empire. Mark Antony's passionate love with Egyptian Queen Cleopatra leads to indifferences between his fellow triumvirate Octavius. This leads to Battle of Actium between Octavius and Antony supported by Cleopatra's forces. However Antony loses the war while Cleopatra flees with ships. To regain the love of Antony, she sends the message of her suicide. Antony wounds himself and learns later Cleopatra is not dead and dies in the arms of her.
