Synopsis

The Monkey's Paw is a horror short story by William Wymark Jacobs about a pearl which could grant three wishes for anyone who asks. Mr & Mrs. White's family receives the Monkey's paw from their family friend, who gives a warning that the wish will be granted followed by a curse. Mr.White think of the first one, that he wish to recieve 200 Pounds. Next day evening his son not returned from his work and an employee said he met with accident in the factory and 200 pounds has been given as compensation. Cursed to see their son's contaminated body, both Mr and Mrs. White think another wish though seperately. Mrs. White wish her son to be back alive, Mr. White wish his son's body to be buried 2 miles away from their home. Which one could be the second wish?.
